I first met Britton while researching spooling solutions for Revit a few years ago. His BIMPro tools allowed mechanical contractors to stay inside the Revit model without having to move back and forth between Fabrication CADMEP and Revit when changes were issued. This allowed for a smoother process by helping to ensure the team was looking at the recent version and not waiting for revisions in another software, helped deliver better models, and allowed firms adopt the BIM process without a lot of upfront content creation as they were able to continue using their existing fabrication library.

The timing of this episode is coincidental but since Autodesk University is just around the corner I wanted to share a personal story: I’ve brought people from some of the largest MEP contractors in the country who have adopted BIM over to MSuite’s Autodesk University booth.
