BWB Episode 49 - The Hidden Blessings of 2020

Hey BWB Fans,

Face it, unless you won the lottery and retreated to some COVID free island - 2020 was rough. Though, it did have its moments and perks. For instance, how many of you were given such freedoms to work at home prior to 2020? How many were privileged enough to spend every waking moment surrounded by your family (I am aware that some see this as a curse)?

Not only did 2020 bring changes to the work/life balance but it also exacerbated technology adoption, ignited industries to change, and it brought us all closer. Never before have I seen such collaboration across companies and industries.

For Example, LinkedIn has never been more alive for the AEC industries with rising stars, new ‘meaningful’ content creators, and free Q&A. Not only that but we’ve seen dozens more podcasts started for our industry. Some of us have added new family members, pets, career changes, etc.
