About Us

Joseph Whitney

Joseph had a misspent youth of building and riding BMX bikes. His love of building bikes brought him to fast cars and motorcycles where he eventually graduated to a shade tree mechanic focused on getting more power. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Geography where he developed a love for databases and GIS he moved onto surveying and construction layout. It was shortly after this that his love of deconstructing and reconstructing came back in full swing. Joseph spent the next 6 years in the Pacific Northwest drinking delicious beer and honing his affection for BIM and related modeling software.

Why a podcast?

We’ve had many conversations over the years regarding construction technology, related processes, and interesting projects we were involved with. Coincidentally we almost always had great beer or whiskey in hand. From that sparked an idea which led to this website and the associated podcast. This is the tip of the iceberg, we’ve got great ideas on the future of this podcast and soon to follow merchandise.
