BWB Episode 83 - Integration and Automation

Hey BWB Fans,

In this episode we dive into good whiskey and beer as well as scratch the surface of integrations and automation.

There are some useful tools out there that are popping up to help us with the integration part so that we can advance the automation piece of the puzzle.

A few on the integration side being tools like Toric, Aptix, HH2, etc. The automation possibilities are endless once we have (meaningful) integration.

Then there are the DIY tools like Dynamo. We can definitely automate but on much more limited scale. It reminds me of the maker space community and while we have a great BIM community much of the advancements are seen as proprietary and thus we lack a robust open BIM community.

Maybe all this will change with the prevalence of AI and more DIY tools popping up.
